HOW IS SOCIAL MEDIA USED BY INDONESIAN SCHOOL PRINCIPALS FOR INSTRUCTIONAL LEADERSHIP?

Information technology and communication adoption, including social media, remains an interesting research theme in this digital era, especially a developing country like Indonesia. A survey of principals’ perceptions Indonesia on the factors that influence use media for instructional leadership serves as focus study. Using sequential approach, 122 principals responded to questionnaire which adapted Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) containing six constructs namely perceived ease use, usefulness, attitude, facilitating conditions, subjective norm, behavioral intention technology; seven them were interviewed give further explanations their perception. The different test was used results interview quantitative data analysis thematic analysis. This finds is considered satisfactory. There no significant difference regarding based sex or age, but there age aged more than 50 years have highest average TAM. From interviews, it can be concluded work make effective efficient. between principal teaching staff proves great way supervision, not only report learning process, also other activities such administrative reports financial discussions.
